Reno Lovison began providing asset valuations in the 1980's while associated with another company and has continued to offer this service to bankruptcy trustees, assignees, banks, business buyers and sellers and others who could benefit from an independent third party appraisal of assets. Appraisals provide an estimate of what a business might be worth if forced to liquidate. This information can be used to negotiate with creditors; facilitate business sales and acquisitions; loans; or to settle asset divisions between partners. 	Appraisals are based on physical inspection of assets combined with past experience, current values and recent sale prices of similar assets. Our independent third party valuation typically provides liquidation (or auction value) and gives potential adversaries an objective starting point from which to negotiate. We are based in Chicago but have conducted appraisals nationwide. Reno Lovison has successfully completed the updated 2008 USPAP 15 hour course and exam conducted by the American Society of Appraisers.
