Julie Lovison has developed a set of MOPPETS FLASHCARDS designed to coordinate with the material presented in the Music for Moppets method book.

The 28 card set helps reinforce the habit of seeing music as a set of patterns combined together to make a song, using pre-reading notation (short and long dashes moving up and down by skips and steps). Cards are "coded" with pictures from the corresponding page in the Moppet's book.

Your Moppets will like the manipulative quality of the cards. A set of their own will help their parents work with them to learn concepts like "Up & Down" "High-Middle-Low" "Short & Long" "Twins & Triplets" as well as practicing ear training, sight reading, ensemble playing, transposing, and creative improvisation.
